Dr. Carol Kory has a diverse and extensive work history in the engineering and technology sectors. Dr. Carol currently holds a position at USRA as the Vice President of Program Development and University Engagement. In this role, they have led various programs and contributed to important technological advancements in low-gravity propellant gauging and communications relay for NASA's Artemis program.

Prior to their current position, Dr. Kory founded and managed Kore Scientific LLC, a small business providing engineering services to government and commercial sectors. Dr. Carol successfully delivered custom designs for antenna systems and played a crucial role in the development and delivery of environmental sensor hardware and software for the United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) while working as a Technical Program Manager at PEMDAS Technologies & Innovations.

Early in their career, Dr. Kory worked as a Senior Electrical Engineering Research Specialist supporting NASA Glenn Research Center, where they provided analysis and troubleshooting for space mission equipment.

Dr. Carol Kory earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Dayton from 1988 to 1992. Dr. Carol then went on to obtain their Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Cleveland State University from 1995 to 1997. Finally, they completed their Doctorate of Engineering in Electrical Engineering at Cleveland State University from 1997 to 2000.
