Luke Sheehy is the current Chief Executive Officer of Universities Australia, the national peak body representing Australia's 39 public universities. Luke is passionate about ensuring Australia continues to have a world-class, fair, and global higher education system. In addition to their role at UA, Luke is also an Advisory Board Member for the Australian Academy of Technology & Engineering's Elevate Program, where Luke works to drive more Women in STEM. Luke is also a Board Member for Palliative Care ACT and has held various other positions in education, innovation, and public policy consulting. With a background in law, social science, and music, Luke brings a diverse skill set to their work in the education sector.
