Mehdi Rahimifar is an Associate Researcher at Université de Sherbrooke since September 2021, specializing in neuromorphic hardware prototypes and FPGA implementations for Spiking Neural Networks, significantly enhancing power efficiency and reducing computation latency. Previous experience includes roles as a Research Assistant, developing the rule4ml framework with CERN and Fermilab, and creating an online data acquisition system for high data rate environments. Mehdi has also served as a Project Specialist, overseeing student projects and interdisciplinary initiatives.
