Pierre Rainville serves as the Directeur adjoint - recherche clinique and Directeur de laboratoire at CRIUGM - Centre de Recherche de l'Institut Universitaire de Gériatrie de Montréal, focusing on neuropsychophysiology of pain since May 2005. Additionally, Pierre holds positions at Université de Montréal as Directeur associé aux affaires scientifiques, Directeur scientifique intérimaire, and Professor titulaire since November 2000. Formerly, Pierre was a scientific advisor at Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé from 2007 to July 2020. Academic qualifications include a Post-doctorat in cognitive neuroscience from the University of Iowa (1998-2000), a PhD in psychology with a specialization in experimental neuropsychology and a Master’s in clinical neuropsychology from Université de Montréal, as well as a Bachelor's in Biology from UQAM.
