Jean-François Brocard serves as Vice-Doyen in charge of international and partnership relations at the Faculté de Droit et de Sciences Economiques, Université de Limoges since July 2023. Concurrently, Jean-François has been a Maître de conférences at Université de Limoges since December 2014 and holds the position of Secrétaire Général for the "Dynamique Economique du Sport" seminar and the International Association of Sports Economists, both aimed at promoting research in sports economics. Jean-François was a member of the board at ARJEL from July 2016 to June 2020 and completed post-doctorate research focused on third-party ownership of players' economic rights, commissioned by FIFA. The educational background includes degrees from prestigious institutions such as Ecole normale supérieure and CY Cergy Paris Université, culminating in a doctoral thesis on the labor market intermediation of professional athletes.
