Pere Gabarra is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the chemical engineering sector. Since February 2017, Pere serves as the Managing Director and Plant Manager at BASF Sonatrach Propanchem S.A., overseeing operations at the Propane Dehydrogenation Plant. Concurrently, since September 2020, Pere holds the position of Associate Professor in the Master's Degree program in Chemical Engineering at Universitat Rovira i Virgili. Prior to these roles, Pere worked as a Technology Manager at BASF from July 2008 to February 2017. Pere holds a Master of Engineering in Chemical Process Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya.
