Albert Castell has extensive experience in academia, currently serving as an Assistant Professor and Researcher at Universitat de Lleida since October 2005. Prior roles include postdoctoral and pre-doctorate researcher positions at the same institution. Additional research experience was gained through short-term positions at Universidad de San Simón, University of South Australia, Högskolan Dalarna, and UC Irvine. Albert Castell holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Energy Engineering from Universitat de Lleida, a Master of Engineering in Energy Management and Systems Technology from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Universitat de Lleida.
