Rafaela Bortolini is a seasoned professional in architecture and urbanism, currently serving as a Professor at Universidade Federal de Pelotas since September 2020. Prior to this role, Rafaela founded and worked as an Architect at Camins Arquitetura from March 2019 to August 2020. Academic credentials include a PhD in Construction Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, where research focused on a Bayesian network model for building performance and facility management, as well as a Master's degree in Civil Engineering and an undergraduate degree in Architecture from Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. Rafaela has extensive experience in both academic and practical settings, including teaching and various internships that contributed to research in BIM and lean principles for construction efficiency.
