Ricardo Mello Di Benedetto is a highly accomplished academic and researcher in the field of composite materials, currently serving as an Adjunct Professor and Postdoctoral Scientist at Universidade Federal de Itajubá since May 2023. With extensive postdoctoral experience, Ricardo held positions at Unesp from January 2022 to January 2024 and at the University of Delaware from October 2020 to January 2022. Prior postdoctoral roles include research at Unesp and a PhD researcher position at Universidade Federal de Itajubá. Academic training includes a PhD in Composite Materials from Universidade Federal de Itajubá and University of Delaware, a Master of Science in Materials Engineering from Universidade Federal de Itajubá, and a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina. Additionally, experience in research and development roles at various companies showcases a strong foundation in materials engineering and composite technologies.
