Carlos Silveira is an experienced academic and researcher with a focus on structural bioinformatics. Currently serving as a Professor and Researcher at Universidade Federal de Itajubá since December 2013, Carlos previously held similar positions at Universidade Federal da Paraíba and UNIFEI. Prior to their academic career, Carlos worked as a TI Manager at RM Sistemas (TOTVS) from April 1998 to April 2002, showcasing a strong background in technology management. Carlos obtained a PhD in Structural Bioinformatics from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais between 2003 and 2008, further solidifying expertise in the field.
