Manuel 'Saga' Sánchez GarcÃa is a highly accomplished architectural researcher and practitioner, currently serving as a postdoctoral researcher at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, focusing on the project "The Lawscape Survey". This project explores the intersections of legal documents and urban planning during the early modern period. In addition to this role, Sánchez GarcÃa is a founding member of the Contingent Faculty Committee for the Society of Architectural Historians and serves as an associate editor for the journal Architectural Histories. With a rich background in architectural history and practice, Sánchez GarcÃa co-founded Amate+Saga, an architecture and strategic design firm. Previous roles include freelance writing for National Geographic and research fellowship at Dumbarton Oaks. Educationally, Sánchez GarcÃa holds multiple degrees in Architecture, including a PhD from both Politecnico di Torino and Universidad de Granada.
