Josh Mérida currently serves as a Tech Lead at TELUS Digital and a Professor at Universidad del Valle de Guatemala, both positions held since September and June 2024, respectively. Additionally, Josh has been a Teaching Assistant Professor at Universidad Galileo since January 2022, and previously worked as a Software Engineer at 3Pillar Global from August 2022 to September 2024, as well as a Backend Engineer at Vana from May 2021 to August 2022. Prior experience includes a consultant and software engineer role at Improvement & Progress, S.A. between October 2020 and June 2022, and IT Support Engineer at Cognits from January 2019 to March 2020. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Investigación de operaciones/operativa from Universidad Galileo (2019-2020) and a degree in Ingeniería de software from the same institution (2015-2018).
