Gabriel Natan Pires is a Professor in Medicine and Sleep Biology at Unifesp - Universidade Federal de São Paulo since May 2024 and has been the Director of Sleep Research at SleepUp since October 2019. Pires has extensive research experience at Instituto do Sono | AFIP as a Researcher and Postdoctoral Research Fellow until December 2024. Previously, Pires served as a Professor of Physiology at Faculdade de Ciências Médicas da Santa Casa de São Paulo from January 2018 to February 2021. Other roles include Editor for Clinical Medicine at Springer Science+Business Media from September 2013 to September 2017, and Professor in various institutions specializing in Adapted Physical Activity and Sleep Physiology. Gabriel Natan Pires holds a Master's degree in Psychobiology from Universidade Federal de São Paulo and is pursuing a PhD in the same field.
