Miguel Angel Rodriguez-Florido is a highly experienced professional in medical technology and education, currently serving as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria since April 2005. With a robust background in innovation and technology, Miguel contributes to European research projects and teaches computer-based technology at the Medical School. Miguel also holds positions such as Affiliate and Technical Manager at Cátedra Tecnologías Médicas ULPGC, IEEE Senior Member, and Scientific Collaborator and Innovation Manager at Fundación Ágora. Additionally, Miguel has experience as Senior Researcher and Project Manager at the Laboratory of Technology for Education in Health and has held significant roles in various research groups and companies focusing on healthcare technology. Education credentials include an MSc in Physics, a PhD in Signal Processing and Medical Imaging, and a postgraduate degree in Technology Management, complemented by a recent qualification in Simulation for Training and Education in Healthcare.
