Walter Trezek is the owner and chief consultant of Commerce Logistics Specialists (CLS), a consultancy focused on the global logistics and e-commerce industry, with over 20 years of experience in digital logistics and customs regulations. Trezek serves as the Chairperson of the UPU Consultative Committee, allowing non-public postal stakeholders to contribute to UPU discussions, and as the Vice-Chair of the e-Logistics & Taxation Working Committee for Ecommerce Europe, promoting integration in the European parcel delivery market. Additionally, Trezek is the Convenor and Secretary of the European Committee for Standardization's Working Group on new digital postal services and holds the position of Chairperson of Committee 269 01 at the Austrian Standards Institute. Previous roles include serving as Chief Technology Officer at Austrian Post and Managing Director for EMEA at Stamps.com. Trezek's educational background includes a Master in Law from the University of Vienna.
