Mark Greene P.e.

Director, Engineering, Technical Services - Epic Universe at Universal Destinations & Experiences

Mark Greene, P.E. has extensive experience in engineering, particularly in the theme park and maritime industries. Mark has worked for Universal Parks & Resorts since 2016, starting as a Mechanical Engineer at Universal Orlando and progressing to various managerial roles at Universal Studios Japan. Their most recent position was Director of Sustaining Engineering. Prior to Universal Parks & Resorts, Mark worked at Huntington Ingalls Industries, Inc. as a Shipfitter, Structural Designer, and ultimately as a Structural Engineer. Their employment with Huntington Ingalls Industries lasted from 2005 to 2016.

Mark Greene, P.E. obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Old Dominion University in 2012. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2010, they attended the Newport News Shipbuilding Apprentice School, where they focused on Marine Design.

In addition to their education, Mark Greene, P.E. has obtained several certifications. Mark became a Functional Safety Engineer through the TÃœV Rheinland Group in September 2019. In May 2019, they achieved the Professional Engineer (PE) designation from the Florida Board of Professional Engineers. Furthermore, in March 2018, they earned the Fall Protection Competent Person certification from Gravitec Systems Inc.
