Deeren Vallabh is an experienced IT professional with a comprehensive background in ICT infrastructure and governance, currently serving as Senior Manager at Universal Healthcare (Pty) Ltd. since February 2020. Previously, Deeren held the position of Senior Manager for IT Governance, Risk & Compliance at Barloworld Automotive from April 2007 to December 2019, where responsibilities included unifying IT support teams and managing extensive IT support services across numerous sites. Deeren began the career as a Technical ERP/Database Support at Barloworld and has worked in various roles ranging from Oracle DBA at Clover to Systems Programmer at Portnet, showcasing expertise in database management and IT operations. Deeren holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Henley Business School and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science and Economics from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
