Dario Alliata has extensive work experience in various roles within the semiconductor industry. Dario started their career at Technobiochip as a Researcher from 1993 to 1996. Dario then worked as a Graduate Research Assistant/Ph.D program at Paul Scherrer Institut from 1997 to 2000. After that, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow at Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche in 2000. In 2001, they joined Rudolph Technologies, Inc as an Applications Scientist until 2002. Dario then worked as a Researcher at INFM from 2002 to 2004. From 2004 to 2016, they served as a Senior Applications Scientist at Rudolph Technologies, focusing on various technical areas such as FSI & BSI image sensors and advanced packaging technologies. In 2016, they joined UnitySC as a Metrology Product Manager. Dario then progressed to the roles of Director of Business Unit in 2018 and currently holds the position of Director of Applications since May 2020.

Dario Alliata obtained a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Bern, which they attended from 1997 to 2000. Prior to that, they received a Laurea in Physics from Università degli Studi di Milano, where they studied from 1984 to 1993. In addition, they have obtained a certification in Miller-Heiman Strategic Selling from Miller Heiman Group EMEA in March 2018.
