Nick Hovers is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Senior Counsel at Unity since January 2022. Prior to this role, Nick held positions including Head of Legal at Cennox, where responsibilities included establishing the legal department and providing comprehensive legal support across various domains, and Head of Legal for UK & Scandinavia at Avis Budget Group International. Nick has also worked in senior associate roles at organizations such as Willis Towers Watson and Cognia Law, focusing on commercial contracts, data protection, and litigation support. Nick began a legal career with a commodities traineeship at Bunge and has experience in areas such as German and international law from prior roles at PwC Deutschland and Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH. Nick holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Business, Trade, and Tax Law, and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Stellenbosch University. Additionally, Nick completed a program in Corporate Governance, Law at the University of South Africa.
