Maciej Pondel is a seasoned researcher and educator in business intelligence and digital transformation, currently serving as the Head of Business Intelligence in the Management Department and a lecturer for the Executive MBA program at Wroclaw University of Economics and Business since November 2020. In addition, Maciej has taken on the role of Digital Transformation Business Strategist at Unity Group since January 2016, where responsibilities include managing a Real Time Omnichannel Marketing project that leverages Big Data technologies and machine learning for eCommerce. Maciej also holds positions as Product Owner and Big Data Architect at upsaily.com, focusing on customer intelligence and machine learning for e-commerce since January 2018. Previous experience includes roles at Wroclaw University of Economics, Intratic, and Grupa Unity, with expertise spanning IT technologies, cloud computing, and project management. Maciej earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Business Informatics from Wroclaw University of Economics and Business and a degree in Information Technology from Wrocław University of Science and Technology.
