Charles Price has over 35 years of experience in the construction and coal combustion residuals industries. He began his career in a family-owned construction business and founded Charah in 1987 to service the construction industry and perform utility construction and infrastructure installation. In 1992, Charles changed the direction of the company and began focusing exclusively on electric utility services and coal ash management. He is now recognized as an industry leader and expert, currently serving as Chairman of the board of directors of the American Coal Ash Association (ACAA). Charles was selected as Entrepreneur of the Year in 2010 in the Midwest Region by Ernst & Young and was a finalist for national Entrepreneur of the Year.
