Alec O'Meara has extensive experience in communications and external affairs, currently serving as Director of External Affairs at Unitil since July 2010. O'Meara's career includes roles as External Affairs Manager and Media Relations Manager at the same company. Prior to Unitil, O'Meara worked as a Correspondent for the New Hampshire Union Leader from July 2008 to June 2010 and as Editor at Salmon Press from March 2004 to September 2007. O'Meara began a career in media as an Intern at Maxim Inc. (MAXIM Magazine) from October 1999 to June 2001. Educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs from New York University (1997 - 2001) and attendance at Phillips Exeter Academy (1995 - 1997).
