Sam Tucker has been a Trustee at United Way of Greater Houston since 2008. Prior to that, they worked as an Aircraft Inspector for United Airlines from 1989 to 2008. Sam also worked as an Aircraft Mechanic for United Airlines from 1986 to 1989.

Sam Tucker has an associate's degree in Applied Science in Aviation Maintenance Technology from Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell Campus. Sam is certified by the Federal Aviation Administration as an A&P Mechanic. Sam is also certified by ASNT Level III ET, PT, MT, RT, UT.
