Cynthia Hansen is a trustee at United Way of Greater Houston. Cynthia previously worked as a data analyst at AccuVal-Liquitec from November 2008 to April 2015, and as a paraprofessional at American Appraisal Associates from May 1979 to September 2008.
Hansen completed the ASA M&E 201 course in 2008. At AccuVal-Liquitec, they were responsible for acquiring auction data and brochures for the company's large Machinery & Equipment database, as well as for performing quality control procedures to ensure the best upload of information to the database. Cynthia also assisted with 19 Liquitec auctions, mainly in the Customer Service capacity.
At American Appraisal Associates, Hansen maintained a filing system of 30,000+ manufacturers of machinery and equipment spanning all industries, containing descriptive literature and prices dated back to the company's start in 1896. Cynthia was also responsible for maintaining an electronic database of new machinery & equipment prices, and for training employees on its use. In addition, they worked with desktop appraisals, applying the tables and formulas to Excel spreadsheets, summarizing, and manipulating the data.
Cynthia Hansen attended Washington High School and then the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where they studied occupational therapy.
