Michele Romano is an experienced professional in water network technology and analytics, currently serving as Insight and Analytics Manager at United Utilities since July 2011. Prior roles at United Utilities include Operational Technology Senior Engineer and Event Recognition System Developer. Responsibilities have involved the study, design, and deployment of systems for real-time data management and event detection in smart water networks. Michele also has experience as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Exeter and as a Research Engineer at the Tropical Marine Science Institute, where contributions included work on water quality and tsunami modeling.
