Bugra Ayan, PhD, is a scientist with a diverse background in tissue systems and cell production, currently working at United Therapeutics Corporation in the Organ Manufacturing Group. Previous experience includes a role as a scientist focused on 3D tissue modeling at Sonoma Biotherapeutics and a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University. Bugra Ayan also served as a graduate research assistant at Penn State University and worked as a biomedical engineer at Ankara Guven Hospital. Education includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Engineering Science and Mechanics from Penn State University, completed in 2020, and further studies at Stanford University from September 2020 to May 2022.
