Ted Cava is a skilled labor organizer currently working with the United Teachers of Dade since April 2023. Previously, Ted served as a UX Writer for Conversational AI at Comcast from January 2022 to March 2023. Additionally, Ted has mentored young writers at Mighty Writers from 2018 to 2023 and worked as a freelance content writer from 2011 to 2022. Experience also includes roles as an on-demand chef at Kitchensurfing (2013-2015) and as a tutor at Parliament Tutors (2011-2015). Ted holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Brown University, graduating in 2011.
