Eric Edwards has a diverse work experience, primarily in the field of government affairs. Eric started their career as a Political Liaison for the Republican Party of Florida in 2004. In 2006, they joined the Florida House of Representatives as a Legislative Assistant in the Office of the Speaker. Eric later became a Budget Analyst in 2009, before transitioning to the role of Legislative Aide to Senator Don Gaetz in 2011. Edwards then joined The Florida Senate as a Legislative Analyst in the Senate Majority Office in 2010, and continued in their role as a Legislative Aide until 2016. Currently, they are working for U.S. SUGAR as Assistant Vice President of Governmental Affairs since December 2016, and later promoted to Vice President of State Government Affairs in June 2020.
Eric Edwards attended Florida State University from 2001 to 2006. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science.
