Roger Smith currently serves as the Operations Branch Chief for the Plans and Programs Office at the United States Space Force, a position held since September 2024. Prior to this role, Roger worked as a Critical Infrastructure Analyst at U.S. Space Command from February 2023 to September 2024 and as a Plans and Programs Specialist at the United States Space Force from June 2021 to February 2023. Roger's extensive experience includes over a decade as the Readiness and Emergency Management Program Manager at the U.S. Air Force Academy and 21 years in various roles at the U.S. Air Force, including Emergency Manager and Production Control Specialist. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Emergency and Disaster Management from American Military University and an Associate of Arts in Disaster Preparedness from the Community College of the Air Force.
