Oguchi Onyewu is a prominent figure in the sports industry, currently serving as Vice President of Sporting for the U.S. Soccer Federation since May 2023 and as a Brand Ambassador for PUMA Group since January 2021. Onyewu is also the CEO and Founder of ONYX Elite, LLC, which focuses on helping members achieve their health and fitness goals through professional training. Previous roles include Sports Analyst for CBS Sports and Secretary General for Royal Excelsior Virton. Earlier in their career, Onyewu held positions as Sporting Director at Montverde Academy and Orlando City SC, and as a professional soccer player for various clubs including AC Milan and Newcastle United. Onyewu was also a member of the U.S. Men's National Soccer Team for over a decade. Onyewu holds a Bachelor of Arts in Language & International Business from Clemson University and recently completed a degree in CEO of Sports Organizations from the Global Institute of Sport.
