Carla Ward is an accomplished head coach with significant experience in women's football. Currently serving as the Head Coach for Aston Villa Football Club since June 2021, Carla previously held the same position at Birmingham City FC from June 2020 to June 2021. Prior to these roles, Carla was the Women’s Head Coach at Sheffield United Football Club from January 2016 to July 2020. In addition to a coaching career, Carla managed Havana Stitch and Print, supplying embroidered corporate clothing and uniforms to various businesses across the UK from August 2006 to June 2021. Carla holds a degree in Sports Performance & Sports Management from the University of Bath.
