Christopher Benson is a maritime professional with extensive experience in various roles within the industry. Currently serving as Mate 1600 GRT at United States Seafoods since October 2022, Christopher has previously held key positions such as Superintendent/Mate 1600 GRT at E & E Foods, Inc. from May 2020 to December 2022, and Operations Supervisor, Captain 200 GRT at Clean Gulf Associates Services from February 2013 to April 2018. Earlier in their career, Christopher worked as an Apprentice Mate and Bosun at American Marine Corporation from July 2005 to December 2011, following a service in the US Navy as a Logistics Specialist from August 1997 to July 2001. Christopher holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from East Tennessee State University and studied at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
