Douglas Jones possesses extensive experience in emergency management and public safety, currently serving as Chief of Emergency Management at the United States Mint since April 2005, where responsibilities include overseeing continuity of operations and training programs. Previous experience includes serving as a Firefighter/EMT with West Annapolis Volunteer Fire Company and a Biological Laboratory Technician at USDA-ARS, contributing to international agricultural research. Additionally, Douglas Jones has military experience as a Munitions Systems Maintenance Specialist in the United States Air Force. Academic achievements include a Master’s degree from Georgetown University in Biohazardous Threat Agents, a Graduate Certificate in Emergency Management from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Maryland.
