Megan Loney currently serves as a Senior Program Manager for Libya at the United States Institute of Peace, where Megan has held various roles since September 2013, including Program Officer and Senior Program Specialist. Prior to this, Megan gained experience as a Military Staff Committee Intern at the United States Mission to the United Nations and an International Security Program Intern at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. Megan's early career included positions at Saint Mary's College, where Megan was a Lead Mentor for the Global Women Leaders Institute and worked in various capacities supporting academic departments. Megan holds a Master of Science in Peace Operations Public Policy from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Arts in Humanistic Studies and Peace Studies from Saint Mary's College.
