Jenna Fischer currently holds the position of Senior Program Assistant at the United States Institute of Peace since April 2020. Prior experience includes roles such as Program Assistant and Temporary Project Assistant at the National Democratic Institute, focusing on programs in Iraq and Lebanon. Jenna has also contributed as an Egypt Policy Intern at the Project on Middle East Democracy, where responsibilities included writing and editing a tri-weekly publication on democracy and performing translations to support research. Academic experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at Tulane University, where research focused on the Ottoman Empire’s political strategy. Jenna's early career features positions as a Resident Advisor and internships at Chestnut Cambronne PA and the Moroccan National Archives. Jenna earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, specializing in Middle East Affairs, from Tulane University.
