Chris Brown is a Senior Design Specialist in Publications at the United States Institute of Peace, a position held since April 2018, where responsibilities include leading design development for scholarly materials and overseeing publication processes to ensure adherence to industry standards. Previously, Chris served as a Graphic Designer and Creative Specialist at ISEP Study Abroad, managing the organization’s graphic identity system globally, and as Marketing and Recruitment Coordinator for the Study Abroad Office at the University of South Carolina, where strategic communication materials were crafted to promote overseas programs. Additional experience includes roles as Page Designer for The State Newspaper, Design Director for The Daily Gamecock, and Public Information Intern for the South Carolina Emergency Management Division. Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication with a focus on Visual Communications from the University of South Carolina and a University Exchange Certificate in Creative Industries from QUT.
