Anup Kumar serves as the Domain Head of Wholesale and Business Banking Architecture at United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) since January 2018, leading the architectural strategy for wholesale banking services and driving digital transformation through innovative architecture such as microservices and event-driven models. Previous roles include Domain Head of Enterprise Architecture and DevOps at UOB, where Anup successfully implemented an enterprise architecture strategy that supported a multi-billion-dollar digital banking transformation. Anup's earlier experience at Citi spans multiple leadership positions, including Application Middleware Services Head and Global Head of Infrastructure Shared Services, where responsibilities included managing technology solutions and service delivery across Asia and EMEA, overseeing IT transformations, and ensuring compliance with security standards. Anup began a career in technology at HCL Technologies as a Senior System Specialist, focusing on data center operations and infrastructure support. Anup Kumar holds a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Jamia Millia Islamia University.
