Alex Sim is a seasoned financial services professional with extensive experience in risk management and operations within private banking. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer for both UOB Private Wealth and UOB Private Banking since December 2014, Alex oversees critical functions including client fulfillment, transaction support, and business compliance. Prior to UOB, Alex held senior positions at UBS, Barclays Wealth Management, and Citi, focusing on operational risk, business process improvement, and regulatory compliance across the Asia Pacific region. Alex began a career in finance as an auditor with Price Waterhouse Coopers and has a strong academic background with a First Class Honours degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Melbourne.
