Ahmad Ubaidillah currently serves as the Head of Shariah at United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) since December 2015, where responsibilities include guiding and overseeing compliance with Shariah requirements for the Islamic banking window. Previously, Ahmad held the position of Shariah Manager at Islamic Banking and Finance Institute, focusing on training Shari'ah personnel, and worked as a Manager at Standard Chartered Bank, managing the Syariah secretariat. Ahmad gained experience as a pupil in chamber at Asri Musa & Co and as a lecturer at Insaniah University College. Ahmad's educational background includes a Master in Comparative Laws from International Islamic University Malaysia, a Bachelor of Laws in Syariah, and additional qualifications in Islamic Studies and Arabic.
