Alexandria Neelis is a Produce Buyer at UNFI since March 2024 and serves as a Land Advocacy Fellow with the National Young Farmers Coalition. With a background in organic produce procurement, Alexandria previously held the position of Organic Produce Buyer at Tourtellot & Co., Inc. from January 2023 to January 2024. Additional experience includes various roles such as Temporary Program Technician at USDA, Bread Baker at Seven Stars Bakery, and Wholesale Access AmeriCorps VISTA with FARM FRESH RHODE ISLAND. Alexandria has also worked in customer service as a Server at Gracie's and a Barista at Coffee Exchange, where responsibilities included training management and administrative assistance. Alexandria holds a Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems from the University of Rhode Island and an Associate's degree from the Community College of Rhode Island.
