Tim Christophersen is an experienced professional in the fields of climate action and ecosystem restoration, currently serving as a Member of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration Advisory Board and the Vice President for Climate Action at Salesforce. Previously, Tim held significant roles within the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), including Head of the Nature for Climate Branch, Head of the Freshwater, Land and Climate Branch, and Chief of the Terrestrial Ecosystems Unit. Tim also contributed to the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity. Prior experience includes coordinating the European Programme at IUCN - The World Conservation Union. Tim earned a Diplom in Forestry from Technische Universität Dresden and completed secondary education at Domschule Gymnasium Schleswig.
