Waleed Shoukry is an experienced finance professional specializing in emerging markets, currently serving as a Portfolio Manager for Emerging Markets Debt & FX at the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund since March 2016. Prior to this role, Waleed was the Head of Emerging Markets Fixed Income & FX/Local Markets at Arabia Advisors from 2011 to March 2016. Waleed's career also includes significant positions at Merrill Lynch, where responsibilities encompassed managing global EM macro portfolios and trading strategies, as well as earlier roles at Nomura and Citigroup focusing on portfolio risk and emerging markets. Waleed holds a Master of Science in Global Finance & Economics from The New School and a Bachelor of Science in Finance & International Business from NYU Stern School of Business.
