Hilda Oyella is an accomplished Human Rights Officer at the UN Human Rights (OHCHR) since August 2006, where contributions include enhancing the capacities of Uganda's government ministries, departments, and agencies on human rights-based approaches, notably integrating human rights standards in the National Development Plan II (2016-2020). Prior to this role, Hilda served as a Training and Administrative Officer at Medair Uganda, coordinating emergency water and sanitation programs and promoting hygiene awareness among internally displaced persons. Hilda's educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Development Studies from Makerere University, a Master's of Science in Development Management, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Development Management from The Open University, as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Programme Monitoring and Evaluation from Uganda Management Institute.
