Ha Ryong Jung (Michael) is an experienced professional in human rights and legal advocacy, currently serving as an Associate Human Rights Officer at the United Nations Human Rights since March 2023. Prior to this position, Ha Ryong Jung worked as a Technical Advisor at the Child Rights Coalition Cambodia from June 2019 to March 2023 and as a Legal Officer at Legal Aid of Cambodia from September 2018 to March 2023. Extensive internship experience includes roles at the Harvard International Human Rights Clinic, UNICEF EAPRO, and the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia. Ha Ryong Jung holds a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan. Previous experience also includes serving as a Programme Assistant at UNESCO APCEIU and as a Sergeant in the Republic of Korea Army.
