Pieter Pacolet is an accomplished professional in the field of seed production and breeding operations, currently serving as the Head of Breeding Operations - Seed Productions at United Beet Seeds since September 2024. Prior experience includes a decade at SESVANDERHAVE, where Pieter held various roles including Breeding Operations Manager, Indoor Seed Production Manager, Seed Production Quality Manager, Project Manager for Abiotic Stress, and Research Assistant. Pieter began an academic career as a PhD student at KU Leuven, focused on sweet immunity in model plants and important crops, and has earned a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Biology from the same institution.
