Tom Lavalley has extensive experience in both aviation and education. Currently serving as a B-787 Pilot with United Airlines since February 1991, Tom has demonstrated a long-standing commitment to the aviation industry. In the educational sector, Tom held the role of School Board Director for the Academy District 20 Board of Education from November 2017 to November 2023 and served as a Board Member for The Classical Academy Charter School from August 2014 to August 2017, where leadership included positions as vice-chair and chair. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from New Mexico State University and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Mechanics from the United States Air Force Academy.
