Ian Hall is a seasoned aviation professional currently serving as a First Officer at United Airlines since January 2023. Previously, Ian Hall held various significant roles within the U.S. Coast Guard, including serving as Chief Engineer and HC-27J PIC, where leadership was provided to a 141-member department in a dynamic environment. Ian Hall also contributed as Deputy Program Manager for the HC-27J Acquisition program, overseeing a $2 billion investment to enhance the capabilities of 14 C-27J aircraft. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. Prior to these roles, Ian Hall gained extensive flight experience, including duties as Flight Examiner, Instructor Pilot, and Aviation Materiel Officer.
