Alyssa Peterson is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as a Staff Attorney at UNITE HERE Local 11 since October 2021. Previously, Alyssa held the position of Judicial Law Clerk for The Honorable Gerald A. McHugh from August 2020 to September 2021 and was a Liman Fellow at the Center for Popular Democracy from September 2019 to August 2020. Earlier experience includes working as an Associate Editor at the Center for American Progress from May 2014 to June 2016 and as a Policy Analyst at The White House for a brief period in April to May 2014. Alyssa earned a Juris Doctor from Yale Law School (2016-2019) and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Georgetown University (2010-2014), along with attending UCL in 2012 and graduating with a high school diploma from Benet Academy in 2010.
