Gus Rios is an experienced reservoir and petroleum engineer with a solid background in production and completions engineering, currently employed at Unit Corporation since May 2014. Responsibilities include preparing detailed procedures, cost estimates, and Authority for Expenditure (AFE) documentation for initial completions, recompletions, and work-over operations, as well as conducting Nodal Analyses. Prior to this role, Gus served as the Public Relations Chair for the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society - Texas Epsilon Chapter and worked as a personal trainer at LA Fitness from February 2009 to January 2014. Gus holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Houston and has further education from The University of Texas at Austin.
