Michalis Garofalakis has over 20 years of work experience in the field of software development and engineering. Michalis currently holds the position of Senior Software Engineer at Uni Systems, a role they began in January 2021. Prior to that, they worked at European Dynamics as a Senior Software Engineer from July 2007 to December 2019. Before that, they were a Web Developer at GroupNet from November 2005 to March 2007. Michalis also gained experience as a Software Developer at Conceptum from October 2000 to October 2004. Michalis'scareer began as a Network/Lab Administrator at the Department of Informatics - TEI of Athens, where they worked from September 1999 to August 2000.

Michalis Garofalakis completed their education at the Technologiko Ekpaideutiko Idrima, Athinas from 1996 to 2007, where they obtained a degree in Software Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Michalis Garofalakis has obtained several certifications from Microsoft. Michalis became a Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate in August 2021, a Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals in March 2021, a Microsoft Certified Professional Developer: Sharepoint Developer 2010 in July 2013, a Microsoft Certified Professional in February 2013, and a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist: SharePoint 2010, Application Development in February 2013.
